Remote participation in the workshops or the poster sessions is unfortunately not possible.
Registered participants will get a personalised link to enter the oral sessions via Zoom. Please note: the link will be personalised, it won't be possible to share it with other people.

How to register as an ECSA member
Everyone who has an individual ECSA membership is allowed to register with the ECSA fee by using a voucher code. The individual voucher code will be sent to all members in the first week of December. Institutions that have an ECSA membership are allowed to send 3 members each with the ECSA fee. Please contact
If you would like to become a member, you can join the association via the ECSA website. As a new member, you will receive your voucher code by email within 48 hours.
Registration for the conference is open from December 1, 2023, to March 15, 2024. Please note that starting from March 1, 2024, you will only be able to pay by credit card or PayPal. Payment by invoice will no longer be available.

The registration fee includes access to all presentation formats, snacks, refreshments, and lunches during the first three days of the conference, as well as all social events, including the conference dinner at Fuhrgassl-Huber, an evening event at the Natural History Museum Vienna as well as the Citizen Science Day.
The Citizen Science Day will take place at the Natural History Museum Vienna on Saturday 6 April. The Citizen Science Day is open to the public and includes museum and city tours, project presentations, interactive marketplaces, and much more. Conference participants can enjoy free admission to the festival, while other museum visitors will receive a discounted entrance fee on this day.
